Grant Ward (January 7, 1983 — 2015) was an Hydra operative working undercover in S.H.I.E.L.D. When he was a teenager and in prison, he has been recruited by John Garrett who became his S.O. and mentor. He went rogue after Garrett's death and eventually associate with Gideon Malick to discover the real purpose of Hydra. He has been killed by Phil Coulson on Maveth and his body has been taken by Hive.
