Teaser
- Inside an untidy bedroom in which one can see a poster of Quake untitled "Quake is my Hero" and another one of David Bowie, is Ruby, layed on her bed and listening to music. General Hale comes into the room, ordering her daughter Ruby to go on class even if she is not in good mood. Then Ruby asks her mother about her position as a "good guy", for until recently, S.H.I.E.L.D. was considered as "the good guys", yet she has an assignment to put them down. Hale notices Ruby's obsession about Quake, yet according to her, she answers to superiors, and wants to "build a better world for"... her daughter, so she will end S.H.I.E.L.D. once and for all if they show themselves. Hale leaves the room.
- Elsewhere, Fitz, May, Coulson and Johnson (who is uncounscious) appear, followed soon after by Yo-Yo, Simmons and Mack. Simmons and Fitz hug each other, when Coulson lays Johnson on a table. When everybody worry when they realize that they are still in the Lighthouse, Fitz reassures them as if they are at the same place, it is another time. Fitz switches on the lights when the others barely start to believe they are back home.
- Suddenly, a figure appears on a pillar, introducing himself as General Rick Stoner, a figure from the past, the video supposes that the world has end and Project Reclamation has been enabled. According to Coulson, this place nor this project were ever mentioned in Fury's toolbox.
- Then Coulson worries about Mack's injuries from his combat with Kasius. Simmons will check on him. Yo-Yo tries to ask Coulson to have a check as well, but the latter dismisses her, stating that Daisy will have questions when she wakes up. As the hologram continues the tour, Coulson orders May to follow. May orders Fitz to come with her.
- Johnson wakes up, realizing that she has been ICE'd by Coulson. Johnson notices that they are at the same place. Coulson explains that he needs her right here despite the upcoming events when she is supposed to destroy Earth.
- Meanwhile, May and Fitz discover a warehouse full of boxes. They eventually end up on three monolyths locked into glass cages. When May asks for their provenance, a man appears telling them that the location is unknown. Then he introduces himself as Noah, a Chromicon from Cygnus. Enoch warned him about this place and the time travel. According to Noah, all the people aware about the danger of the monolyths and the bunker are inside of it. The world is still safe.
- Noah brings them to a control room where he can monitor any unusual activity anywhere on Earth without interfering unless they face an Extinction-Level Event. Then May notices a particular event.
- Back to the control room all the team witness a "light from the sky", a one like Samuel Voss telled Coulson to be the moment when it all starts (AOS: "The Last Day").
