Bernie is a hot-dog traveling salesman in East Los Angeles.
Character's evolution
Mike Peterson buys two hot-dogs at Bernie's fast food shop. When an explosion occurs in a building just around the corner, Peterson asks Bernie to watch over his son Ace. A few minutes later, he comes back to Bernie and takes back his son.
