Character's evolution
Debbie is in the room when an explosion blasts the top floor of a building in East Los Angeles. She asks for help when Mike Peterson climbs on the walls, jumps into the room in flames, find the young woman and jumps from a window to land on the ground with Debbie in his arms. Peterson lays Debbie on the street then flees when Skye watches and shoot all the event.
Later on KEJH 3, Debbie tells the reporter that she doesn't know how to thank the hooded hero who saved her. In the Ruthie's Skillet diner, Skye approaches Peterson, telling him that the woman at the hospital would certainly like to thank him, and may be even more.
After Foreman Gary has been badly wounded by Peterson, the latter bring flowers to Debbie in her hospital's bedroom. Debbie is surprised, yet warns Peterson that he has jeopardized the project and orders him to disappear.
Later, at the Los Angeles Union Station, she sends an assassin to eliminate Peterson.
Notes
- In a deleted scene, Debbie is killed the same way Edison Po was killed by the Clairvoyant in "The Magical Place", through a cellphone.
