Mack is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, assigned to secure valuable assets.
Biography
Mack is driving a semitrailer as a cover for S.H.I.E.L.D.. His trailer has a secure safe inside able to hide secure assets for the organization. In 2013, he was assigned to move away Dr. Franklin Hall to a secured location. He passed a weight check point but has language and hygiene issues with an inspector (AOS: "The Asset").
Character's evolution
Singing while driving a semitrailer, Mack is escorted by two other agents in SUVs. He makes point with a male agent about the weight control. But suddenly the female agent's car is propelled by an unknown force. Touching his HUD screen, he find an alternate way to secure the cargo. But when the second SUV is propelled as well, Mack calls the S.H.I.E.L.D. region C.T. to warn them about the ambush. But as he is speaking to them his truck is lifted up very high only to crush on the road. Mack is unconscious surrounded by his airbags.
Later, during the night, Mack, lightly wounded, report to agents Phil Coulson and Melinda May, telling them that he was really scared as he saw nothing visible. He also tells Coulson that "they" knew their course and were waiting for them, meaning that there is obviously a mole within S.H.I.E.L.D.

- Mack says about himself that he is not spooking easily.
- The song Mack is singing in his truck is "Drive All Night 'Till Dawn" from the Australian alt-country band Wagons.
